The Proprietor of JOFEGAN International School Bida in Niger State, retired Wing Commander Jonah Sheshi Gana, made the plea in Abuja while presenting laurels and awards won by representatives of the school in various competitions.
He also urged the students to face their studies with seriousness in order to achieve excellence in their academic pursuit.
He said parents and guardians should not relent in providing reading and learning materials for their children.
He said the school is committed towards contributing its quota in uplifting the standard of education in Niger State.
According to him, “Our over-reaching goal is to be the best private school in Niger State in terms of academic performance by 2018 and of the 10 best schools in Nigeria by 2020.”
