After the 2nd edition of the Games which Ogun State hosted successfully, the 3rd edition which the organizers said would be an improvement on the two previous ones was awarded to Rivers State.

The association said it is working closely with the government of Rovers State which has since expressed its readiness to give every necessary support in staging the games.

According to the statement from the Media Officer of PASAN, Mr. Tolu Oguntimehin, zonal preliminaries are billed for March of 2013 while the games proper would hold between April and May in Port-Harcourt.

The statement further said PASAN is absolutely satisfied with the progress made by the games as it maintained that legislative workers have shown expected enthusiasm in taking part in the games.

Meanwhile, the national council in line with PASAN constitution has ordered for the immediate dissolution of the National Assembly chapter of the Union.

It also directed the Registrar of Trade Unions, Mrs. M. Mbogu as a matter of urgency to audit the account of the National Assembly Chapter of the Union with effect from April 2011 to date and to invoke Section 5(3) of the Labour Act Cap LI of 2004, Section 17 of the Trade Union Act and Rule 20(4) of the PASAN Constitution, 2011 to compel the remittance of the check off dues deducted from the members of the National Assembly Chapter of the Union into the PASAN national account.
