Pastor to congregation: Be good Christians or stop coming to church

He also warned his congregation that “if you don’t want to be good Christians stop coming to church, we will not miss you and God will not miss you either. But you must know that hell is real and likewise heaven”

The power packed service which the God’s servant described as loaded also saw an awesome prophetic declaration of blessings strong enough to keep dream and destiny eaters at bay and place the collective of the members set their destinies on a speed lane to ‘Rehoboth’

Anchoring his message on a prophetic mantra, and proclamation that ‘I am the one’ in the previous Sundays, the man of God stepped up the prophetic leeway by declaring  that it was time to walk out of every situation, that has previously covered the fortunes of the people be it demonic affliction, self inflicted or divinely permitted afflictions.

Taking his text from Judges 6:1, pastor Alex drew an analogy from the predicament of the Israelites who were divinely purposed to believe in affluence in a land full of milk and honey, but they did what was evil in the sight of God and He gave them out to their enemies who tormented them at will.

Like the children of Israel, he said some peoples’ glory, honour and fortunes were covered, and their glory replaced with affliction, misfortunes and failure owing to a number of factors which could be demonic, self inflicted, generational, or divinely permitted by God on account that the afflicted has committed evil.

Alex explained that most Christians in this generation were suffering all manners of demonic afflictions and different kinds of torments today as a result of their wickedness or past misdeeds, adding that it was difficult for individuals to run away from their negative past, except they return to God in repentance to seek pardon and deliverance.

According to him, evil has the capacity to expose individuals to torment and affliction, adding that it was not only the devil that inflict man with affliction, hence, the man of God called on the congregation to repent for God to do a new thing in their lives.

The pastor who conducted prayers of deliverance for the people who responded to the alter call, made prophetic declarations that the Sunday marked the coming out of bondage for any member previously held hostage by one problem or the other, charging them to go and prosper at all fronts.

Earlier at the communion service, the pastor charged the communicants to detest all forms of evil and its appearances, adding metaphorically that “Christians are epistles that the public read, if we are not transparent, then we are not representatives of God.”

The Pastor cautioned that the time was evil, hence Christians must be on the watch, adding that a time will come that evils would be legalized. “Witchcraft, homosexualism, lesbianism and other evils would be legitimized in our society. Therefore we must be on the watch because judgment is coming and as mortal man no one would live forever.”

The pastor who appeared to be angry in the spirit said: “It is either you are a good Christian or you stop coming to church, adding that it was better for him to pastor a few congregation that would make heaven than pasturing a multitude that would end up in hell.

The hallmark of the service was an altar call where worshipers having listened to the thought provoking and life changing message turned out in large numbers to make amends, and to receive prayers for specific problems.
