Agent of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Godsday Peter Orubebe has disrupted the announcement of presidential elections result by the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Prof. Attahiru Jega.

Orubebe is former minister of Niger Delta ministry.

He accused INEC chairman of being bias in handling the process of results collation.
Orubebe said the commission’s chairman answered the allegation of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) by sending a delegation to Rivers state, without doing same to the concerns raised by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He said if similar delegation was not send to states of Kano, Katsina and Jigawa saying the party would not continue to participate in the collation process, as it has lost confidence in him.

After about 15 minutes of disruption, the INEC chairman Jega responded to his query and denied receiving any petition from the PDP.

He explained that he would take the appropriate action needed if a petition is addressed to him appropriately.

Announcement of results have recommenced with Ebonyi state where the PDP got 323, 653 and APC 19, 580 votes.
