The driver of one of the counsels of the PDP, Mr Sola Oke, was one of those attacked yesterday outside the venue of the Ondo State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Akure.
The driver, Mr Sunday Oladunmoye, was attacked by thugs who stormed the venue.
The arrival of military personnel and officers of other security agencies saved the situation as they chased away the hoodlums.
The High Court complex was later cordoned off while shop and office owners were warned against the gathering of more than two persons within their premises.
PDP, however, accused APC and Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of sponsoring the thugs.
A statement by the PDP spokesman in the state, Kennedy Peretei, accused APC of mobilising thugs to the venue to harass and attack their supporters.
In a statement by its Publicity Secretary, Mr Alex Kalejaiye, APC said both Governor Akeredolu and the party have no reason to mobilise thugs to the venue.
