PDP constitutes post -election assessment c’ttee

A statement by the party’s National Publicity Secretary Olisa Metuh said it’s National Working Committee has mandated the committee headed by Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu to make recommendations for the repositioning of the party.
Members of the committee include Governors Godswill Akpabio (Akwa Ibom), Theodor Orji (Abia) and Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo (Gombe).
Others are Deputy Speaker Emeka Ihedioha, governor-elect for Rivers State Chief Nyeson Wike, ministers of education and interior Malam Ibrahim Shekarau and Abba Moro, Engr. Abdulkadir Kure, Adamu Waziri and Senator Ahmed Makarfi.
Chief Makanjuola Ogundipe, Chief Pegba Otemolu, Mrs Funmi Ayoola are to also serve as members of the committee, while Sen Walid Jibril is to serve as the secretary.
The committee is to be inaugurated tomorrow at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
