The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) yesterday flagged-off its campaign in lmo State ahead of the November 11 governorship election in the state.
Speaking during the event held at the Kanu Nwankwo Mini Stadium in Owerri, the state capital, the party’s candidate, Samuel Anyanwu said his administration would liberate the state if given the mandate.
He said the state is where it is due to poor leadership and urged the electorate to vote the PDP on November 11 for a better deal.
Chief Anyanwu promised lmo workers of better days ahead, adding that he would conduct local government elections if voted into office.
Earlier, the acting National Chairman of the PDP, Umar llya Adamagum, urged the people of lmo State to vote for the party.
“With the crowd l saw here today (yesterday), if they should vote, the PDP will win the election come November 11, 2023,” he said.
