The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Youth Vanguard has asked the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party to forward the nomination of Senator Suleiman Nazif Gamawa to the National Executive Committee (NEC) for ratification as the new Deputy National Chairman (North).

The office of PDP Deputy National Chairman (North) has been vacant since February 2019 following the suspension and subsequent expulsion of Senator Babayo Garba Gamawa from the party who later died.

Addressing a press conference yesterday in Abuja, the National Coordinator of the PDP Youth Vanguard, Ambassador Ibrahim Bala Aboki, advised the NWC to take appropriate steps in order to ensure the office didn’t remain vacant for too long.
