The Senator representing Benue North-West Senatorial District, Emmanuel Orker-Jev, has said that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is the biggest enemy of itself.
Emmanuel Orker-Jev said this while commenting on the crisis involving the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, the party’s national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu and Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, in an interview on Channels TV’s Politics Today.

He said, “This is politics and politics there are no quick fix solutions to any problem especially when we are talking about leadership recruitment. You know this is the season for leadership recruitment and it is not going to be easy.
“Leadership recruitment is not an easy process. I feel sad personally as a member of the PDP that things have come to this, but it’s not let. I have always said that at the end of the day, the biggest enemy of the PDP is not even the APC, because the APC has failed. In the last seven years, they have failed. So the biggest enemy of the PDP will be the PDP itself.
“Every day I wake and go to breakfast unsatisfied with the way things are going, not to say that things will not be resolved. It’s not going to easy thing.”
