Several members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party (LP) have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State.
They were received into the ruling party on Thursday by a member of the state House of Assembly (Mainland ll), Rasheed Shabi.
Shabi noted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership style endeared opposition members to the ruling party.
He urged the defectors, who are the Wards A, B, and C of the constituency, to be loyal and shun anti-party activities “so that you can enjoy the benefits of being an APC member to the fullest.”
