An independent investigations conducted by Weekly Trust in Lagos showed that mobilization funds for delegates of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is yet to get to executive members of the party at the Local Government level 8 hours to to the commencement of the Presidential and National Assembly elections scheduled to hold on Saturday, March 28 2015.

 

sources within the party alleged that, contrary to the promise by the state executives that funds was going to be made available to them before the end of Friday, informations regarding monitoring the elections was yet to get to them.

 

“We are waiting, because they told us that they will get to us before 5pm. We are yet to receive any information from the state exco. As at now we do not know how we are going to share ourselves” the source said.

 

The source who do not wish to be named said that from the look of things it was going to be tough moving from one polling unit to another. “We need to hire vehicles that will take us round, but as we speak no arrangement has been made and we are yet to hear from our leaders” he said
