The incumbent member representing AMAC/Bwari federal constituency, Micah Jiba, Sunday won the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primaries for the constituency.
Micah polled all the 68 votes from the delegates to defeat two other aspirants, Onyogu Raymond and Abdurahman Ismaila, who both scored 0.
Olubunmi Oguntebiji, secretary National Electoral committee of the party, who announced the result, said the process was transparent and meet the laid down procedures.
Alhaji Yahaya Belo, FCT Resident Electoral Commissioner, described the primaries as peaciful, free and fair.
Speaking shortly after declaring him winner, Micah thanked all the delegates for their confidence in him and assured that he would continue to do his best if given another chance to represent the constituency.
