Following the recent election judgement of the Court of Appeal in Abuja, which sacked the majority of the Plateau State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) state and federal legislators in favour of the All Progressives Congress (APC), PDP supporters staged a protest in Jos, the state capital, on Wednesday.
The protesters, who came out in their hundreds and blocked the road around the Old Airport roundabout in Jos, the state capital, carried placards with different inscriptions.
The protesters, who were comprised of men and women, kept the road blocked for about an hour before they dispersed from the roundabout to continue with their protest.
Shortly after most of the protesters had dispersed, security agencies, including the police and military, arrived at the scene.

Daily Trust reports that the protest almost turned violent as the protesters stormed the Court of Appeal along Yakubu Gowon Way. They stormed the building and pelted it, while others hit the gate.
It was gathered that a similar protest was held in Maraban Jema’a along the Jos-Abuja highway, which also almost turned violent.
The PDP publicity secretary, John Akans, did not respond to his call for comment.
Meanwhile, the North Central APC Forum has cautioned the PDP in Plateau State against organising such a protest.
Speaking in Jos, the Chairman, Saleh Mandung Zazzaga, said Jos and Plateau State have generally been bedevilled by crises over the years, and sensitive political issues or protests can trigger crises if not well handled.
