PDP will come out stronger – South South PDP chair

Chairman of the South-South caucus of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in the House of Representatives, Fred Agbedi, has expressed confidence that the party would recover and come out stronger and despite the crisis in the party.

Speaking during a forum, organized by the Federated Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Bayelsa State council, Agbedi, noted that PDP remains “a party of the people” despite the internal crisis and wave of defections affecting the party in Bayelsa State and across the country.

Agbedi, who holds the party nomination for the Bayelsa West Senatorial District, said his long political experience and years of service in the National Assembly have prepared him for higher legislative responsibilities.
