Niger State Governor Babangida Aliyu yesterday expressed confidence that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state will win the governorship election. The governor, who spoke during his accreditation, said many issues worked against the PDP in the last presidential and National Assembly election, including insecurity, economy and incompetence.
“At this election which is local, people will assess and cast their votes accordingly. So I believe PDP will make it at the state level,” he said.
