Peace Corps commissions office building in Edo

The Peace Corps of Nigeria has commissioned its squadron command in Uromi the administrative headquarters Esan Central Local Government of Edo State.

Commissioning the building, the National Commandant, Dickson Akor, said the building would aid the men and officers of the corps  in the discharge of their duties.

Represented by the South West Zonal Commandant, Mutairu Habib Odion, he  noted that without office accommodation it would be difficult for officers to work effectively to actualise the mandate of the corps.

According to him, the office accommodation would boost the officers’ moral and capacity to deliver.

On his part, the Edo State Commandant, Ayuba Amed Tijani,  advised the officers of the command to make good use of the office and continue with their good performance in promoting the image of the organisation.
