Senator Ola, representing Ekiti State in the upper chamber of the National Assembly, also assured that the lawmakers will do everything possible to enact laws that will enhance education and sports in schools.

The Proprietor of the school, Glendy Fatimehin said the organization of the first inter- house sports competition by the school management is to support the theory that says, ‘’all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.’’

She said the inter-house sports will henceforth be observed annually in order to give the students opportunity to develop their skills in sports while facing their education noting that the students would be medically fit, mentally alert and agile in the academic studies when combining sports with education.

The proprietor however appealed to the Federal Capital Territory Authority, FCTA the private sector and individuals to assist the school in the area of infrastructure and sports facilities just as she said that investment in youths will help to curb social vices that have been the bane of Nigeria political and economic development.

Meanwhile, Love House clinched the second position followed by Faith and unity houses respectively. Unity house came first in the march past followed by Faith, Love and Peace houses in the corresponding order.

In the relay race for senior girls, Peace and Faith houses came in the first and second positions while Love and Unity houses followed in that order.
