The Women in Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN), Kaduna Zone, has stressed the need to address domestic violence in the country. The national chairperson of the association, Faith Usoroh, said this on Monday in Abuja at a rally to stem the rising cases of domestic violence.

According to her, there are women’s actions and inactions that contribute to domestic violence.

She said most of the case of domestic violence might not have occurred if women had pampered their husbands and be less confrontational.

“Even when we, as women, are acting as breadwinners, we should still pamper our husbands, after all, we give birth to the boys that became men

“Also men must treat us fine and see us as partners in progress,” Usoroh said.
