Any person entering Nasarawa State must pass temperature test before being allowed in.
The Commissioner for Justice, Abdulkarim Kana, said in Lafia that medics were expected to check temperature of everyone coming into the state and ensure social distancing is complied with by not overloading their vehicles.
He said Governor Abdullahi Sule has made a proclamation restricting travels through Nasarawa State from 6:00am to 8:00pm as entrances will be sealed at 8:00pm from Saturday.
Kana said that government officials have been enjoined to assist in monitoring activities of security personnel and paramedics in the 10 entry points created.
“Let all chairmen and government functionaries in the 10 entry points of the state assist in monitoring the activities of both the paramedics and security agencies which have been mobilised to support them.
“They are Nyanya-Mararaba, Gitata- Tattara, Gwantu-Andaha, Sisimbaki-Wamba, Shendam-Sabon Gida, Kadarko-Makurdi, Loko-Agatu and Abaji- Toto. No one will be allowed entry from 8:00pm to 6:00am,” he said.
