PAN Nigeria now asserts her automobile manufacturing prowess through the production of a completely new brand with 100% indigenous production personnel from her state of the art mechatronic factory comparable to any in the world sited in Kaduna.
The new identity, PAN Nigeria suggests the factory commitment to continue satisfying Nigerians with the Peugeot brand and to broaden her brand production portfolio. By adopting a new approach, PAN Nigeria is seeking ways of solving mobility problem looking into other brands for affordability, good quality and mostly customer satisfaction.
Recently PAN Nigeria decided to choose the Changan brand for the under listed reasons.
It is number one indigenous Chinese brand. It is the second joint venture partner of Automobile Peugeot in China (confirming quality). It has a multi-brand production experience having produced Suzuki-Ford-Mazda-Citroen- assuring us its shared technology. It is deep-rooted in research & development having footprints in major automobile R&D cities around the world (Turin in Italy, Detroit in Michigan U.S.A., Yokohama in Japan, Nottingham in UK and five other Chinese cities). In the future we should expect an R&D site for Africa in Nigeria. It is also a trail blazer in hybrid technologies in China thus possessing the acumen for the strategic collaboration towards deployment of energy optimization drives in Nigeria also.
The Alsvin has passed through series of tests by TUV, Nord and Institute of Applied Automotive Research (IDIADA), the Changan Alsvin received the necessary European Certification (ECE) in addition to all the necessary patents/certifications in the People’s Republic of China.
Total adaptation to Nigeria in all sense has been achieved by the input of reputable quality acumen garnered over the years by PAN Nigeria. Thus the vehicle is primed by Nigerians for Nigerians to make it a Tri-Continental Parcel- in essence it could be driven anywhere in the world. It even comes with a signature on the boot lid “PAN Nigeria”.
