The PFN Vice-President, Bishop Wole Oke, made the confirmation when the fellowship’s leadership paid a courtesy call on the state’s Acting Gov., Chief Stephen Lawani.

He said the lingering leadership tussle in the Benue PFN was finally resolved when all the groups were disbanded by the national body.

“We came to Benue to resolve the crisis in the state chapter of the PFN, and the issue has been successfully resolved,’’ Oke said.

He assured that with the reconciliation in place and all the rival groups disbanded, all the members would be working hand in hand with the state chairman in the interest of the fellowship.

Oke then prayed God to give the leadership of the state government the wisdom to administer well.

He also prayed for the people of the state, and for peace to reign in the state.

Lawani who is the state’s Deputy Governor, thanked the PFN national body for its efforts and peaceful resolution of the crisis in the state chapter.

“We all in the state have benefited a lot from the fellowship’s prayers, which led to our victory at the April elections and also helped us win our case at the tribunal,’’ he said.

The acting governor promised that the state government would continue to work with the PFN in its struggle for the transformation of Benue into one of the best in the country. (NAN)
