Pharmaceutical Association of Nigeria Students (PANS), University of Benin (Uniben) Chapter has offered free medical services to students and traders at Oliha Market, Benin City, Edo State.
The event, targeted at 10, 000 persons, was part of activities to mark the 37th annual Health Week tagged ‘Ethikos 2016’. The event was meant for people who could not afford to go to hospitals for routine check-ups.
Speaking with this reporter, the president of PANS, Benjamin Idiakhoa said, “Health Week is an annual event in Uniben pharmacy school. But this year is different; we decided to increase the number of beneficiaries to include traders and provided free drugs for them.”
