The 3CEi innovation launched in 2013 was created to help build a solid foundation for Nigerian pupils and students in ICT knowledge development at primary, secondary and tertiary levels, the company has said.
“We are committed and enthusiastic about the 3CEi Initiative because the programmes are targeted at helping schools establish 21st century ICT clubs to inspire and motivate innovations amongst tech savvy pupils and students,” Chief Executive Officer of Phase3, Mr. Stanley Jegede said at the Centagon International School, Abuja marking the commencement of the programme.
He said it would be developed into an audio-visual format in English and French and will be converted to Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba languages very soon.
The audio-visual format comprises of an interactive question bank designed with a child-friendly interface, Jegede added.
“To commemorate our 10th year anniversary, proposals requesting Phase3 Telecom to be Patron to the ICT Clubs of both public and private schools in FCT have been sent out. We decided to commence the run of the programme in the first 10 schools to respond to our proposal,” he added.
