The police have recovered one of the bikes bandits allegedly used for operations in Katsina State.

SP Isah Gambo, Police Public Relations Officer in Katsina, disclosed this while announcing how security operatives foiled an attack on a village in Kanakara.

He said bandits had struck at Gidan Duka village where they rustled domestic animals.

Gambo was following a hot chase, the fled into the bush and abandoned the animals.

He said in a similar operation, the police rescued 11 kidnap victims in the state.

Gambo said the victims, who were taken to Dutsinma General Hospital for medical examination/treatment, have been reunited with their families.
