Rivers State Governor Chibuike Amaechi was in the early hours of today ambushed and refused entry into Ekiti State by armed  military personnel ostensibly acting on orders from above. The Governor was on his way to Ekiti  to support his colleague , Kayode Fayemi in a mega rally that was scheduled for thursday ahead of the Governorship election in the State.

While Governor Amaechi was stopped from entering Ekiti, a convoy  reported to be conveying two serving ministers was given a free passage into Ekiti state.
