The family of Abba Kyari, suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, has welcomed him back after two years at the Kuje Custodial Centre in Abuja.
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) had arrested Kyari over his alleged involvement with a drug cartel.
He was arrested on February 14, 2022, and later suspended by the police.
But last week, Justice Emeka Nwite of a Federal High Court in Abuja granted Kyari bail to allow him take part in his mother’s burial rites.

His mother, Yachilla Kyari, died on May 5.
