Former Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu Abubakar, (Walin Lafia) has extended his heartfelt condolences to Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, former Governor of Nasarawa State, following the demise of his father-in-law, Alhaji Mamman Musa Jos.
Alhaji Mamman Musa Jos, father to Hajiya Mairo Tanko Al-Makura (the senator’s second wife), passed away on Tuesday in Jos after a brief illness.
He was laid to rest in accordance with Islamic rites on the same day.
In his message of sympathy, the retired police chief, who has indicated interest in contesting the next Nasarawa gubernatorial election, expressed deep sorrow over the loss and prayed for divine comfort for the bereaved family.
He stated, “May Allah (SWT) grant Alhaji Mamman Musa Jos eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus and fortify the family he left behind with the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss.”
