Fuel queues have resurfaced in Nigeria’s capital city, Abuja, amid the hardship, which has triggered protests across the country.

Onyekachukwu Obi, Daily Trust’s photojournalist, went across the city and got some shots of the queues which resurfaced after petrol tanker drivers vowed to stop lifting fuel over unfavourable working condition.

Alhaji Yusuf Lawal Othman, National President of the Nigerian Association of Road Transport Owners (NARTO), who announced the strike, had said the decision was taken because “what we spend on operation is more than what we get in total”.
