The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential primary election holds today at MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

Voting has not started and the National Working Committee of the party is said to be in a critical meeting. Security personnel man gates of the venue, as mini markets spring around the vicinity.

So far one of the contenders, Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, has pulled out of the race.
