Some supporters of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) took to the streets, on Wednesday, over the Appeal Court’s Certified True Copy of the judgement on Kano Governorship election.
The supporters who attended a special prayer session at Filin Mahaha around 2pm asked for justice to be served in the matter.
One of them, Auwalu Muhammad, said all they were asking for was justice and fairness from the judges and all stakeholders concerned.
“We are calling on the judges to be just and fair in whatever they are doing. What is happening will not make us stop supporting Kwankwaso or leave the movement. We are Nigerians, we deserve to be treated well.”

“God is watching us all, we need justice to be served. The Appeal Court should affirm the people’s choice and respect their mandate. We voted for NNPP, it won and that’s what we are all asking for.”
However, there was a clash between the party supporters and the Police just by the State Police Metro Traffic Department (MTD) office along BUK road.
