Former Senate President Bukola Saraki and some top members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) met with ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo at his Hilton hotel room, Abuja, on Friday night.

Among the PDP leaders were former governors, Sule Lamido, Liyel Imoke, Peter Obi and Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo.

Obasanjo held a similar meeting with former head of state, Abdulsalami Abubakar, and Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar, on Thursday.

Journalists were barred from the meeting which reportedly lasted close to 10 hours.
