The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) faction under the leadership of Taminu Turaki, held an emergency Board of Trustees (BoT) meeting on Tuesday.

The meeting, chaired by Adolphus Wabara, is holding after an Appellate Court nullified the November convention of the party.

Turaki and the current National Working Committee (NWC) members were elected at the convention.

The lone PDP governor in the North, Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, is attending the meeting.
