This was contained in a letter addressed to the vice chancellor of the school, Professor M. A. Mainoma by the HOD, Banking and Finance, Associate Professor Uche Uwaleke.
The letter reads in part: “Emmanuel John, a student of Banking and Finance, who is physically challenged, has been awarded a scholarship by the pioneer head of department, Associate Professor Theresa A. Udenwa, who is also the chairman, Board of Trustees, Heartland Childcare Foundation.”
The HOD expressed appreciation for the kind gesture and urged the student to study hard and justify the scholarship award.
