Speaking to Feverpitch ahead of tomorrow’s match the coach said having qualified from a tough group that comprised of the defending champions, Heartland and another NPL side, Gombe United, the team from Plateau deserves all respect.

He said his team will bring out everything in its arsenal in the quarter final match billed for the Agege stadium as he maintained that anything less than that would be dangerous.

Ganaru who said his team is gunning for the double this season said his boys are adequately motivated to pick the precious semi-final ticket.

According to him, the General Manager of the club, Alhaji Abba Galadima has ensured that the team gets all the necessary motivation.

He said with the support of the club management and the people of Kano State, Pillars are prepared to take both the league and the Federation Cup.

“We are not going to underrate Plateau United. There is no push-over team left in the competition. We have seen the fall of big clubs like Rangers and we are not ready to take chances with any team.

“Our target is to win the trophy and if we are to achieve our set goal, we have to win all matches. This is the knock out stage and it is not time to undermine the chances of other teams.

“My boys are highly motivated. We have all the necessary support from the government and people of the state. We cannot afford to let them down”.

Coach Ganaru also said Pillars are at home in Lagos because the fans have since demonstrated tremendous support for the team from the ancient city of Kano.

“We are at home in Lagos because we are enjoying massive support from the football fans here. Lagos fans love good football and they are always ready to support any team that is ready to give them what they want”.
