Kano Pillars Head Coach, Ibrahim Musa, has expressed his satisfaction with the point earned in the week 15 fixture with Enugu Rangers in Nnewi.

After some poor results, Pillars managed to force the ‘Flying antelopes’ to a 0-0 draw.

Reacting to the crucial point picked on the road, the gaffer said he was proud of his players’ performance.

He said “I have told the players that our present position is not where we are supposed to be but we are grateful to God that we got something from our trip against Enugu Rangers. They have a very good team and they are in the top half of the table”, Musa said to www.npfl.ng.

Musa is also confident that they would return to the top half of the table if they can sustain the momentum and aggression in their next double home games with Rivers United and Nasarawa United.

“We are happy to have gotten a positive result against Enugu Rangers even though we came into the game expecting to pick all three points because of our position on the league table.

“Coming here to pick a draw is not a small effort. I will want our players to maintain the same momentum against Rivers United and Nasarawa United. 

“If we are able to win our next two home games, we may be in the fifth position if other results are to our advantage. We will work hard to ensure that Pillars pull through before the end of the season and at least qualify for the continent,” he said.
