Pillars coach in the 2010/2011 season, Bosso has returned to his former club, Wikki Tourists of Bauchi and the post of Technical Adviser is presently vacant.

Consequently, there were reports in some sections of the media that Pillars are in talks with their former coach, Yusuf on the need for him to return to the club.

However, the club’s General Manager, Alhaji Abba Galadima told Feverpitch that there is no element of truth in the reports as he insisted that his club has not got in touch with the former coach and it has no single intention of doing so.

He said considering his technical abilities, every club would love to him as a coach but Kano Pillars are not looking in the direction of Yusuf just as he stressed that the club would not do so soon.

Galadima maintained that Pillars are not in a hurry to get a replacement for Bosso so all the talks about the club getting in touch with Yusuf are completely false and figment of imagination of those spreading the rumour.

He said: “I am the General Manager of Pillars and if there is anything like that I should be in position to know and also make it public. I want to tell you that nobody in Pillars has held discussions with Salisu Yusuf. He is not in our plans.

“We are not in a hurry to get a replacement for Bosso. At the moment, we are going to make use of the existing technical crew. We have told them what we want to achieve and what is left now is for us to work towards the set goals”.

Galadima said even if Pillars are going to recruit a technical adviser, it would not be immediate as he said such appointments are not done in a hurry and any form of desperate move would undermine the abilities of the coaches on ground.

“We have confidence in the present technical crew. They are going to take charge of the team pending when it would be convenient to get a more experienced hand to supervise what they are doing. And in the end, there may be no need. The results we yearn for may come and if that happens, there would be no need to incur more financial responsibilities”.

Galadima also said the management of the club has no single problem with Bosso just as he thanked the coach for working for the club with all dedication and commitment.
