Although Pillars have since won the league title, the two super powers will play for pride and it is expected to be fireworks in Aba.
Abubakar said the fans in their thousands have been mobilised and would storm the Aba Township stadium to cheer their darling team to victory.
He added that Pillars will not be in Aba for the trophy alone but to convince everybody that they are true champions of Nigeria.
Abubakar said henceforth, Pillars will no longer be a Nigerian club only but an international club that is going to take the continent by storm next season.
“It is a known fact that Pillars have the highest number of supporters among Nigerian clubs. We are mobilising to storm Aba on Sunday (today) for the final match against Enyimba. Thousands of Pillars fans will be on ground to celebrate victory.
“We the fans of Pillars are passionate about the club and we do everything to ensure that the club succeeds. We are united and this is one of the reasons the club is excelling. I tell you there is harmonious relationship between the fans club and the management,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Pillars midfielder, Shagari Mohammed yesterday said they will not settle for anything less than victory against Enyimba.
“It is true we are already champions but we want to confirm our supremacy over Enyimba. We want to beat them to prove to everybody that we deserve to win the league title.
“We respect Enyimba but we won’t settle for anything less than victory,” he said.
