The Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Experience Aviation Nigeria, Ryakeng Gidado Caleb, and her Co-facilitator, Longji Mwansat, who are both licensed pilots), recently educated some secondary school students in Plateau state on aviation matters.

The training which was held at the headquarters of the company within the Yakubu Gowon Airport, Haipang (Jos Airport), had students from Government Secondary School Kufang in Jos South and Claire Aid Foundation in Jebbu Miango of Bassa LGA.

The students were exposed to topics like air experience, scenic flight, and flight simulator experiences.

Ryakeng said the aviation sector needs to grow beyond scheduled flights to the point of flying for leisure and fun in the country, adding that such will lead to engaging more pilots and people which will by and large create more jobs and business opportunities.

“Why our target is mostly students is so those who do not have the opportunities which abound in the aviation industry can know and take good advantage of it during and after their schooling,” she noted.

Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong, and the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Maje Wase, met with the students at the airport as they lauded the initiative of the company.

Lalong said the gesture will go a long way in impacting the state positively, as well as impacting in the lives of children/students who are the leaders of tomorrow.
