The Plateau State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has said it refunded the money paid by some aggrieved aspirants for nomination forms for the party’s congress in the state for peace to reign.

Our correspondent reports that internal crisis had rocked the party soon after the state APC congress, with some of its members claiming that there were irregularities in the process and would not accept the outcome of the poll.

State secretary of the party, Alhaji Bashir Musan Sati, told our correspondent at the weekend that, “they said they did not accept the outcome of the congress and that was why we gave them their money.”

But the factional chairman of the party, Ishaya Itse, said they were not refunded the money as claimed by the secretary of the party asking “who returned our money?

“When did they refund the money? It is not true. Nobody gave anything to anybody. As far as I am concerned, I am the only person that purchased the form.”
