Following the recent crises that rocked some local government areas and communities in Plateau State, which claimed many lives and properties, President of the Gideon and Funmi Para-Mallam Peace Foundation (PMPF) had warned victims and those affected by the crises against any form of reprisal.

He said as traumatised as they are already, focusing their minds on reprisal rather than forgiveness will not be good for their quick recovery and advancement and that any act capable of reopening the crises should be avoided.

Speaking in the Miango area of Bassa Local Government while leading other officials of non-governmental organisations to sympathise and donate relief items to the victims, Para-Mallam advised the victims to put their hope in God because should anyone, the security agents or government fail them, God will not fail them.

He urged the people to endeavour to keep watch/vigil over their communities against attackers.

The president condemned the violence and called on the authorities to take necessary steps to halt it as well as prevent future recurrence.

Highlights of the visit was the donation of food items to the victims, words of exaltation/motivation of the victims as well as visits to the affected places.
