The judge, however, gave the convict an option of a N20,000 fine and ordered him to pay a compensation of N300,000 to the complainant.

Earlier, the prosecutor, Insp Monday Dabit, told the court that the accused trespassed into a poultry and stole 100 chickens. (NAN)
