The recent eruption of violence in some parts of Plateau State has left many citizens in great suffering in addition to loss of lives.

The crises led to the imposition of a ban on the operation of commercial motorcycle and tricycle operators which further heightened the hardship of the common man.

The authorities had accused the operators of aiding and abetting crimes as well as escalation of violence.

The ban has made movement from one point extremely difficult for the many residents of the affected areas who depend on this mode of transportation in their day-to-day activities.

This has, therefore, brought to fore the need for the state  to revive the transport company which has been in comatose.

It will assist in providing easy movement from one part of the state to the other thereby reviving economic activities. It will also help in reducing crimes especially the ones   being assisted by commercial transport operators.

More so, as Plateau State remains a tourism destination, an efficient intra and inter city transportation system would help bring in more visitors to the state.

It will also create employment for the teeming youth who would work with the company as well as other businesses.
