This was revealed by its chairman Elder Imoh Jonah who led the state’s leadership to an “allegiance” visit to the National President of the Association High Chief Musa Shehu Isiwele at the association’s headquarters in Abuja.
Jonah said, “We are here to rejoin our national secretariat and national executive officers after about two or three months of absence due to the crisis we had in Jos with the NARTO members and we thank God it is over because we won the court case and at the same time we have reoccupied our parks. “With the support of the state government and with the provision of a few amenities in the park, we will improve on revenue generation through the sales of tickets and also ensure the parks are decent places of transaction for all stakeholders.”
He commended Isiwele for the “positive changes” at the secretariat both in human and infrastructural development.
On his part, Isiwele promised to run an open door policy where every member will contribute ideas on how to move the association forward.
