The former coach of Heartland, Fidelis Ilechukwu has been unveiled as the new Technical Adviser of Plateau United.

He will be assisted by Abdulazeez Hamza Abara who has been appointed the new Head Coach.

Each of the newly unveiled coaches signed two-year contracts with the club each.

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, the General Manager of Plateau United, Pius Henwan charged the new coaches to brace up for the challenges ahead.

He urged them to win the 2022 NPFL title for the government and the sports loving people of Plateau State.

He assured the new coaches of maximum cooperation to enable them to succeed.

“Plateau people are very passionate about the club and that is why we don’t want you to fail during your time as a trophy at the end of the season or a continental ticket is always our ambition.

“Your two predecessors won the league title and yours should not be an exception. So I employ you to put your acts together and fashion out a winning template that will propel the team to victory,” he said.

Responding, the new Technical Adviser, Fidelis Ilechukwu, promised to deliver the league title as he said he cannot afford to fail where his predecessors succeeded.
