Plateau varsity sponsors 85 lecturers for PhD

The Vice Chancellor of Plateau State University (PLASU) Bokkos, Professor Doknan Danjuma Sheni, has said about 85 lecturers have been sponsored to obtain doctorate degrees in their respective fields.  

The VC made the disclosure during a press conference on Monday. He said the institution has sent 64 lecturers to universities in Malaysia, France and Uganda for post-graduate training and that 85 others would be sponsored to obtain doctorate degrees. 

He said unlike in 2013 when the university had 93 officials mainly from one senatorial zone of the state, there are now more than 400 employees representing all the state’s LGAs.
