The Akin Fadeyi Foundation has unveiled an electronic platform that will feature series narrating the lives of Nigerian icons in the bid to inspire a culture of diligence and excellence in the youths.
The convener, Akin Fadeyi, said the series, tagged ‘Impact Series’, was aimed at giving voice to Nigerians who have contributed to the development of the country, adding that the maiden edition will begin with a presentation on legal luminary Afe Babalola, SAN.
“In Nigeria, we have so many people who can be scripted into great stories but who are not seen or known, or who are seen faintly or known faintly just because of the circumstances surrounding where they were born.
“These are beautiful stories from Nigeria. We are choosing to use impact series to elucidate excellence, to celebrate benevolence and foster the culture of appreciation for those who have emerged well among us.

“We shall deploy it as a role model for Nigerian youths to embrace the culture of diligence and hard work, forbearance and pursuit for generosity and mutual respect within our ecosystem,” he said.
He extolled Afe Babalola SAN for his impact on the development of the country and the African continent, recalling that his contribution occasioned the debate at the Ekiti State of Assembly recently to establish the Afe Babalola Day.
