I want to use this medium to advise against the planned debate between Sheikh Abduljabbar Nasiru Kabara and some Islamic clerics by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje in Kano State.

Those in charge of the nation’s security should please stop the  governor from organising the debate as it will only cause threat to the security of the state and the nation, which is extremely fragile at the moment.

Looking at the current situation we are battling with, especially in the Northern part of the country, I don’t think we need issues like this now as they will only end up creating more misunderstanding among the people. This, if not handled carefully, may lead to violence, which will negatively affect us all.
