Onesi Taiwo Dominic, author of ‘The Mirror’, had a nice time reading ‘Odufa: A Lover’s Tale’ by Othuke Ominiabohs. “The story took on a very difficult and complex experience which most people will rather not talk about, but which the writer was bold to present to people, without necessarily trying to influence how they will feel, so the interpretation will naturally depend on the cultural persuasion of the reader,” he says.
The book is a tale about a struggling writer and budding poet who discovers he cannot father a child due to health issues and his whole world comes crashing. In a desperate bid for a heir, he plunges into the reckless life until he meets and falls in love with Odufa.
