Polaris Bank has launched the 2025 edition of its flagship male wellness initiative, offering free prostate cancer screening to 250 men aged 40 and above.

The programme, themed “Men, Your Health Matters – Get Screened Today!”, will run from November 24 to December 31, 2025, in partnership with the Men’s Health Clinic.

Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer among Nigerian men, but early detection can boost survival rates to over 98%.

Building on the success of its 2024 programme, Polaris Bank will provide comprehensive, painless, and confidential screenings at no cost.

The exercise includes PSA blood tests, Digital Rectal Examinations (DRE), and one-on-one consultations with specialist doctors.

Commenting on the initiative, Polaris Bank Managing Director/CEO Kayode Lawal said, “The lives touched in 2024 reaffirm our commitment to men’s health. We are delighted to sustain this tradition, remove barriers to early detection, and welcome more men into the Polaris Bank family.”
