The Osun State Police Command yesterday arraigned two men, Abdulfatai Quamarudeen and Johe Eze, before a magistrate’s court in Osogbo for allegedly stealing a galaxy Samsung phone and a HP laptop at the Agojesu area in Iludun community, Osogbo.
The police prosecutor, Mr Lamidi Razaq, told the court that Qamarudeen and Eze broke the window burglar proof and enter into the room of one Oyebola Johnson Olanrewaju and stole the items.
According to the charge sheet, the accused persons also stole some cash in the house before they were caught.
The police prosecutor said the accused persons committed offences, contrary to and punishable under section 383 of the criminal code cap 34 volume II laws of Osun state of Nigeria 2003.
When the charge sheet was read to them, both accused persons pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge against him.
The defence counsel, Okobe Najite, prayed the court to grant them bail in the most liberal terms.
Magistrate Adekunre Ayeni granted the accused persons bail of N100,000 with two sureties. He adjourned the case till August 1, 2017 for mention.
